The human eye is the most significant gift from the creator that we got. The eye is said to be the window of the soul. If so, then we can say that the eye color is the soul’s curtain. There are a lot of eye colors and it is determined by numbers of factors. Such as pigment of melanin within the iris, the thickness of iris cell layers. Genetically eye color varies from person to person. Blue, brown, hazel, green, black are the most seen eye colors. But people like to change the shade and color of their eyes. But before use any colored contact lens, you should keep in mind some important factors. Like,

The skin tone of a person:

Color contacts will change your overall outlook. So be serious before choosing it. Skin color is the big fact here.  For warm tone skin color uses natural brown or honey hues. Bright color like green and blue contacts will not adjust with these types of skin. It will make an artificial look. For medium tone skin use light brown or honey. Here flexible color can be chosen. For cool tone skin uses blue, violet, hazel or turquoise.

The color of the iris:

After matching with your skin color concentrate on your iris. For brown colored eyes, blue is the top choice. Green, gray may also be used. For dark shade of brown, light blue is the best. It will make a dark blue-brown eye. For lighter brown choose bright blue. Gray contacts are good for all types of eyes. It adjusts to all of them. Contact Lens: How Does It work?

Do you use color contacts ?  Or any one of your relative or known people using? Vision problems are almost common for every person. Day by day the use of contact lenses is increasing. From 1991 to till now, contact lens users have amplified by 4% every year. Many people just started  using contact lens instead of glasses.

Contact lenses just work as like the eyeglasses do. For different types of refractive errors like Myopia, Hyperopia, Astigmatism contact lens work differently.

Color contacts are made of plastic. Contacts are very much thinner and almost concealed optical disc. Contacts sit steadily over the cornea of our eyes. It sticks to the level of the tear liquid which coats the outward of the eye. Our eyelid has a pressure and contacts remain in place steadily with the help of this.

As contact lens has a unique shape so it can move easily in our eyes. As a result, we get a more natural view than the regular eyeglasses. Contact lenses are smaller and thinner than the eyeglasses. As, a contact lens sits steadily just over the eyes so the optical zone might be significantly smaller-sized than regular eyeglasses. Because of the fact that eyeglasses sit quite a half inch away from our eye, so their optical zone might be bigger-sized.

In such cases, the whole lens surface will be the optical zone of a pair of eyeglasses. On the other hand, the optical zone of a pair of contacts is only a part of the contact. For more understanding, if you stand in front of a window, you will get a big view of the outside area. But if you go a step away from the window then you need a much bigger window to get the exact view.

When contact lenses were first introduced, that time they were made of hard plastic. Due to this, many persons feels uncomfortable. Also, this hard plastic did not allow oxygen circulation to the eye. So, users feel irritation as well.

Presently, all types of contact lenses are made of soft plastic that can absorb water. These lenses are more flexible to use and through these lenses, oxygen can easily circulate. Not only that, disposal contacts are also available now-a-days. When you need to change these types of contacts you can just throw them away and get a new pair of contacts. But do not use contact lens while you are sleeping. This is highly prohibited.
